A healthy recipe to help you stay focused (no kale involved)

When trying to achieve a financial goal, its takes more than saving and being disciplined with your finances. To stay focused, a key element is your physical health. When we are feeling healthy, we are more energised, optimistic and above all else, happy!

Diet and money have a strong correlation, yet it is not as widely discussed as it should be. Staying healthy, not only improves overall vitality, it minimises medical costs, including dental, which we all know can cost a fortune.

There are many foods that are scientifically proven to help us stay energised, which leads to increased focus. Salmon is one of these foods and we just love this simple and delicious ‘Super Speedy Steamed Salmon’ by Jamie Oliver. (click here for the full recipe).

Here’s what you need:

  • 4 salmon fillets, skin on, scaled and pin-boned, from sustainable sources
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • A bunch of basil
  • 2 red onions
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 fresh red chilli
  • olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 300 g couscous
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 tablespoons natural yoghurt
