All creditors, such as banks and other lenders, review credit file information to determine the risk associated with certain borrowers. Since 2014, comprehensive credit reporting has been introduced allowing creditors to also include repayment history within credit files, meaning more information about your credit history is available than ever before. Knowing the health of your credit file in advance will better position you to find a solution that you are most likely to be successful with.
